I realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor my therapy to meet the specific needs of my clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, I will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way.
My practice specializes in treating children, adolescents, adults, and families. Within those populations, I have experience working with a variety of disorders and diagnoses, including mood disorders, adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, stress reduction, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and clients on the autism spectrum. I also have experience working with victims of physical and sexual abuse. Additionally, I have experience in the psychological testing of children for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and Asperger’s Disorder.
My clinical orientation is a combination of Family Systems and Psychodynamic. I have experience working in several treatment modalities including play therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy.
As a Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor, I am qualified to provide play therapy supervision for clinicians who are trying to complete the play therapy supervision requirements in order to become Registered Play Therapy Therapists and Supervisors.
